The Global Council for Investment and Business in Africa (GCIB) has appointed Laurent Forêt as Vice President for Switzerland and France. This strategic appointment, announced by His Excellency Dr. Idrissa Doucouré, Executive President of GCIB, represents a decisive step in strengthening economic relations between Europe and Africa.

A Strong Commitment to Africa’s Economic Development

More than just a title, this appointment reflects GCIB’s determination to build long-term partnerships and support impact-driven projects across the African continent.

Upon assuming his role, Laurent Forêt will focus on three strategic countries — Senegal, Mozambique, and Zimbabwe — prioritizing:

Road infrastructure

These sectors have been identified as key drivers for inclusive and sustainable development in Africa.
